As spring has finally arrived in the mid Atlantic states, the final four works to be included in the hanging of 'Unknown Bridges' this summer, will be coming off the drawing board this month. It seems I have saved the largest and most complex works for the last, so these will be slowly materializing over the next four to five weeks. I will be posting 'in progress' images of these pieces over on my Pencil Shavings blog, so take a look.
I've also been compiling images and working with a mock up of a book to be published to coincide with the opening of the exhibition in late June. This book will illustrate all 28 works to be included in the hanging at the Woodson Museum as well as several other works from the bridge series which will not be included in this summer's show. I expect the book to be published somewhere around mid to late June and will post more information about price etc. as time grows closer. The book will be hard bound in an 8 x 10 format.
In the meantime, I will be adding the last works to the listing on the original posting on this blog as they come off the drawing board over the course of the next four to five weeks and expect the show to be complete and ready to ship by mid May, so keep an eye out here for those additions.
